KONG17 and KXNO Des Moines IA 1460 verification
I intended to update my blog more or less regularly during the ongoing KONG17 DXpedition. Well, currently there is very little -almost nothing to hear in the bands, so it is time to write a few words. The DXpedition so far has been a outstanding success, with numerous loggings of stations espeially from New Zealand. Also good conditions for North America, and even a few loggings of stations from further south - possibly as far south as southern Argentina. We have some thousand hours of recordings from our SDR-IQs, and we expect a lot of gold to hide there.
Two of the other DXpedition members update their blogs far more frequently than me, so keep an eye at our host Bjarne's Arctic DX blog and at the Kongsfjord DX web site..
Then to the verification:
Pam Lee, Sales Assistant/Office Manager at KXNO sent me an e-mail with an image of their QSL card with a full data verification text a few days ago. This was yet another verification of a station heard during KONG15, quite exactly one year ago. Thank you, Pam.
