Then KONG17 has become history. Those who have read the weblog at kongsfjord.no or Bjarne Mjelde's blog knows that the conditions were rather poor the last couple of days, but with all the interesting signals we have picked up during KONG17 we have enough to do listening to recordings and writing reception reports for the next months – or years.

One of the more interesting stations we heard last year – during KONG15 – was KENT in Parowan, Utah on 1400 kHz. The station had just begun broadcasting a few days before their signal reached Kongsfjord. Due to several reasons I didn't get the time to send them a report at that time, but I have done it more recently, and a few minutes ago I received an e-mail from Morgan Skinner, President & General Manager for the station. He kindly confirmed my October 2006 reception, and also attached the station's logo.
