Two new verifications: KGU-760 and KKMO-1360

Both my post office box and my inbox have been extremely empty recently - except from the usual stuff - bills etcetera, as well as a little spam now and then in my inbox. Although even the spammers have been on vacation, it seems. May their vacation be long - if not to say eternal! ;-)

Anyway, KFYR-550 delighted me with a nice e-mail verification some time ago, but then it was stop - total stop. And so I had to do something about it.

This Monday (July 30th) I sent away three reminders to stations I very much would like to see a verification from. So far, two of the reminders have done their job pretty well.

First, there came a brief, but friendly e-mail from Steve Miller, General Manager at KGU Honolulu HI 760. Then, after a while, another e-mail arrived, this time from Monte Passmore, Chief Engineer at KKMO Tacoma WA 1360. He also confirmed my reception of that station.

Both stations were heard during KONG13 (October 2005). Especially KGU took me a while and some reminders to get verified, but finally it succeeded, thanks to OJ Sagdahl who received a verification from that same station himself earlier this year.
