But the blog wasn't dead …

Posted October 3rd, 2006 by TJ

Not much has happened here in my DX blog for quite a long time. However, it is now time to wake it up again, as a new season is just to begin.

I have not been completely away from the DX hobby, though. Although we have had an extraordinary sunny and beautiful summer in this area, I have spent some time writing on my own logging software. It is definitely not ready for publishing yet, if it ever will be, but it slowly becomes usable and I really think this project has a future.

One QSL has arrived in my e-mail inbox during the summer months after the ones I have already reported. On August 9 I received a long and friendly e-mail from Marty Brown, Senior Communications Officer at CBC North in Yellowknife, where he kindly verified my October 17, 2005 reception of CHAK Inuvik NT 860. Very nice and welcome indeed, and the only QSL received here for about 3 months. I sent some follow-ups last week, though, so maybe they will bring something.
