It has been some time since I last wrote in this blog, so a few
updates are necessary.
Some days ago I received a most wanted letter from CFYK in
Yellowknife, NT. Marty Brown, Senior Communications Officer at
CBC North wrote to confirm my reception of the station on October
19, 2005. Along with the letter, where he also told about the
city of Yellowknife and it's interesting history, he also sent
some information about the National Anthem of Canada. How could
he know that I am a collector of national anthems? :-)
And just to mention it; Northwest Territories are new to me. Then
it is only left to get Yukon Territory verified in some way.

You may find my CFYK tribute site of interest at http://www.cfyk.com It was the last radio job I've had (to date). I also was a DX'er, but during the '60s. CFYK was just too far from Vancouver to be received, unfortunately.
