Another most welcome e-mail found yesterday came from Pierre
Lonewolf, Chief Engineer at KOTZ in Kotzebue, AK. The station is
heard regularly in Kongsfjord, often with a superb signal, but
with it’s NPR programming it can be quite hard to catch a local
identification. Well, I heard it on October 18, 2005, when they
just had begun that day’s broadcast, and their locally produced
morning show was aired. Pierre Lonewolf kindly confirmed my
reception, and he also attached some photos of the transmitter
site and surroundings.

A really great DX pedition site of course deserves to have it’s own website. And so it has. And a good website too with lots of information about the place, the DX activities there and about the hobby in general. - PUDXK
